Hello, I’m Sherwin Duran, a student at John Abbott College with a background in Graphic and Web design. I have a strong affinity for aesthetics and a passion for creating art, particularly cute and simple illustrations. In this career program, I’ve honed my skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver.

I chose this program because it allows me to channel my creativity into problem-solving. Creativity gives me the means to express myself through my work and bring my ideas to life. My journey began with a childhood dream of becoming an animator, inspired by the joy animated movies brought me.

Over the years, I’ve expanded my artistic horizons by exploring different styles and mediums to enhance my skills. As for my future career, I’m open to various opportunities that come my way, whether in animation, video editing, web design, graphic design, and more. I’m eager to continue learning and improving my art through graphic and web design, gaining valuable experience for a promising future.

Working for renowned animation companies like Disney and Cartoon Network has always been a dream of mine, and I’m determined to make it a reality. I’m an indoor enthusiast, perfectly content with working from home. Besides graphic and web design, I enjoy playing video games, drawing inspiration from them for my characters. In my free time, I cherish watching movies and TV shows with my family; it’s a comforting experience that brings us closer together.
